These Terms are applicable to private consumers only. If you are a business and want to know our commercial terms, please, contact us.
Use of the website
At Grankrona we want to make sure you have the best possible experience on our website. For achieving this, you agree to use the website in a responsible manner and do not:
Act in a manner that could interfere with or restrict access to any users of the website.
Act in a manner that could affect the security of the website or its users.
Use any technology that could interfere with the good use of the website or access to all users.
Act in a manner that is against Grankrona’s or its team’s rights, including intellectual property rights.
Act in a manner that discriminates against the users of the website.
Act in any way against the applicable law.
Identification
Grankrona is a furniture studio owned by Carl Olsson. It is based in The Netherlands and registered under the Dutch Chamber of Commerce number (KVK-number) 84727950 with VAT number (BTW number) NL004008231B03.
At Grankrona we do not have stock, instead, we create each and every piece by hand once you order it. Our sustainable values are very important. This is the reason why we aim for responsible consumption. We make durable furniture and follow sustainability guidelines along the process to create each piece.
Online orders
You can buy our pieces on this website only.
Grankrona does not sell on online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, or any others.
Currently, we do not sell our pieces at any physical shop.
If you see any Grankrona piece outside this website be aware that it is likely to not be original. In such a case, we would appreciate it if you would let us know using our contact form.
For each online purchase, we will collect the necessary contact information. Please, check our privacy policy for more information about how we process your personal data.
Payment
Grankrona will produce your item once your payment has been confirmed. Payments have to be done for the total amount of the order. Grankrona cannot offer installment payments.
Shipping
All Grankrona’s items are shipped by professional delivery couriers. The furniture is shipped to the provided address and is insured during the journey to its new home.
Our delivery times vary depending on the product you order. Unless unexpected situations, the items will be delivered within 3 to 8 weeks.
Grankrona ships to all EU countries and regions with the exception of Cyprus, Malta, and the Canary Islands.
Receipt
For sustainable reasons, Grankrona sends most of the documentation digitally via email. This includes the order confirmation and the receipt.
Please, check your email inbox to find all the relevant communications we send you with your order. Please, be aware that some emails can end in your spam folder. We recommend you add Grankrona’s email address to your contacts so you receive all communication correctly.
Changes
Changes of the delivery address
You can change the delivery address as long as the order has not yet been sent. To do so, please, contact us as early as possible and we will help you.
Changes to the order
Changes to your order within the first 72 hours will be free of charge. After 72 hours, any changes to your order will be treated as a cancellation.
For any changes, please, contact us as soon as possible.
Cancellations
You can cancel your order free of charge within the first 72 hours. After this time you can also cancel your order but we keep a 20% of the original purchase amount (excluding shipping costs) to cover some of the costs related to the production of the items.
Please, be mindful when you order an item and only purchase the products you want to keep. Grankrona is a sustainably focused business and we want to keep our planet as healthy as possible.
If you wish to cancel your order, please, contact us as soon as possible.
Returns
Grankrona offers a 15-day return policy from the day you receive the product. If you wish to return the furniture you have purchased from Grankrona, please contact us and we will help you through the return process.
Please note that Grankrona does not cover the cost of returning the furniture. We withhold 10% of the product price to cover the cost of packaging.
Before we can reimburse your purchase we have to receive the items to assess that they are in the same condition as when they were originally sent out. If the products are not in re-sellable condition then no refund can be offered.
We try to reimburse your payment within 14 days of receiving the returned items. The reimbursement process may become longer as we need to review the received items.
Warranty
At Grankrona we offer a 5-year warranty on all of our furniture.
What is covered by the warranty?
The warranty covers defects related to our materials and the manufacturing process.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Wear and tear-related damages. For example scratches and dents caused by misuse, accidents, or improper/lack of care.
Damages caused by incorrect assembly, storage, or usage. Among others, this includes furniture exposed to strong sunlight and/or fluctuations in temperature and humidity. For example, if the furniture has been placed in an outdoor environment, uninsulated garage, or bathroom.
Defects on any replacement part or product where the warranty has already been claimed.
From when does the warranty count?
The warranty counts from the day the furniture is delivered to you by our trusted courier.
How do I make a warranty claim?
You can claim the warranty of the product by sending us an email with your order number, customer details, and a short explanation of what has happened and we will take it from there. Please be prepared to provide photo evidence of the defect.
How do we typically address a valid warranty claim?
Once we have determined that the warranty claim is valid we will either send a replacement part or a completely new product for free. This depends on the specifics of the damages and the type of product it regards.
Intellectual Property
All designs available on our website are owned by Carl Olsson and protected under design rights.
Images and videos used on the website, and any other available channels, are either created by Grankrona’s team, owned by Grankrona, or used with authorization.

Grankrona does not allow the use or reproduction, in full or in part, of any of its intellectual property rights.
Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
Grankrona is based in The Netherlands.
In case of a dispute between you and Grankrona, we will always try to solve it in an amicable way. For doing so, you can always contact us. In the case this would not be possible, then you agree that the legal jurisdiction for all disputes between you and Grankrona is exclusively the courts of Amsterdam, in The Netherlands, and will be resolved under Dutch law.
