Nature is often perceived as something separate from us. However, we are part of nature and depend on it for survival and well-being. Now more than ever is it important to align our actions with the care of our planet. Both for us and our future generations to come.

At Grankrona we rely on nature both for inspiration and its beautiful materials. To honour that relationship we want to act with nature’s best in mind while giving back more than what we use. 

 

What we do for the planet

    For every piece of furniture, big and small, we plant a tree to make sure that we give back more than what we use.

    We source all of our wood locally from suppliers who make sure that it has been responsibly cultivated and processed.

    Minimising waste

    We only produce on demand to avoid wasting resources. We also continuously work towards higher efficiency to minimize waste and use of energy.

    Recycling

    The materials used, from packaging to production, are all carefully chosen to be recyclable and in turn minimise the impact on the planet.

With Grankrona you directly contribute to a greener planet.

Working with sustainability in mind is important. However, we want to do more than that. Therefore we have partnered up with the non-profit organisation One Tree Planted to help them in their work towards a greener planet. We can proudly say that we plant a tree for every piece of furniture we make, both big and small. By doing so we can make sure that we give back more than what we take.
