At Grankrona we make unique furniture from premium solid wood.
We are picky in our selection of materials as they have to fulfill several criterias. They have to be strong and make for lasting furniture. They also have to be sustainable and possible to source locally. Last but not least, they have to be beautiful and complete the look of the furniture.
White oak
At Grankrona we offer all our furniture in European white oak. We picked the white oak for several reasons. To name a few; its gorgeous looks, its premium characteristics, and its sustainable nature.
Contrary to its name, the white oak wood has a golden brown colour which gives a sense of warmth and exclusivity. It also has a playful and eye-catching grain pattern, making it one of the most beautiful wood types in the world.
When holding a piece of oak in your hands, you can tell that it is a premium material. The smoothness of the surface and the weight of the wood are telltales of this. Oak is also a strong material, ensuring a long life of the furniture built from it.
